The 8-th Russian-German Ball of Economics,Politics and Culture
The 8-th Russian-German Ball of Economics, Politics and Culture was
held on September 4,2009 in the beautifull building of the Russian Embassy
in the centre of Berlin.
Supported by leading german companies the annual fashionable action
invited the whole flower of russian-german beau monde - members of politics,
culture, business and sports.
Splendid arrangement of the event, strict dress-code, russian and
european cooking, delicate aroma of the expensive cigars, the performance of
artists and circus groups - here is only the short list of the actions
occured at the Ball.
The main master of the ceremony His Excellency V. Koteniov, the
Ambassador of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in
Germany and his wife traditionally greeted personally the guests and after
that they had left on the fine halls of the Embassy feeling pleasure in
communication of each other.
The Ball were attended by Gerhard Schreder, former german Chancellor
with his wife Dorris, A.Medvedev, member of the Board of Directors of
Gazprom, Tomas Gottschalk,popular television anchorman in Germany, Nastasja
Kinsky,Hollywood star, Artur Brauner, famous film producer, german and
russian sportsmen.
Also among the guest invited were A.Gordeev, Governor of Voronej
region, V.Sokolin, Chairman of the State Federal Statistic Department,
academician I.Panfilov, First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Peace Fund,
doctor N. Ustinov, Directopr General of "MK-SP" company as well as well
known russian artists,poets and sportsmen.
By tradition the magnificent firework was thundered at about midnight.
The Ball was held in friendly and cordial atmosphere. More see photos
But the day before of the above event when the meetings and talks were
over our german business partners decided to show us the sights of the
Berlin town, organized the excursion to Bernau restored by german federal
autrhrities the place where being a young man academician I.Panfilov served
in the group of troops of Soviet army in Germany.The german friends also
showed us the intersting historical places along the Rein river. See,photo
