On June 6-9,2010 acting deputy minister of foreign affairs of Lao PDR
Mr. Phongsavath Boupha was in Moscow with working visit.
Within the bounds of the visit and in compliance with the decision of
the Academic Council of Moscow International Higher Business School
"MIRBIS" (Institute) the solemn ceremony of the assignment the academic
title of Honorary Professor of Moscow International Higher Business
School "MIRBIS" (Institute) was held in the main office of the Institute
on June 8,2010.
After opening statement made by professor Stanislav Savin, rector of
"MIRBIS" as well as short speeches of professor S.Pirogov, first
pro-rector of above Institute and academician I.Panfilov, first deputy
chairman of the Russian Peace Fund - members of "Honorary Professors
club" the special badge, correspondig official Diplom as well as
doctor's gown and cap were handed over to Mr.Phongsavath Boupha in warm
and friendly atmosphere.
In the word in answer Mr. Phongsavath Boupha expresed deep gratitude
to the Chairman and members of the Academic Council of
"MIRBIS"(Institute) for the confidence showed and recognition of his
services
in the field of international relations , first of all,bilateral
relations between our countries and nations.
Mr. Phohgsavath Boupha also assured in making all efforts and his
experience for further fruitfull development of the comprehensive ties
between our states.
At the end of ceremonial event the official party was arranged. The
party was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary
of Lao PDR to Russia H.E.Somphone Sichaleune, laotian diplomats, Mr. Yu.
Medvedev, State Duma deputy, members of "Honorary Professors Club",
professors and teachers of the Institute, representatives of
russian-laotian friendship association and other guests invited.
In the course of the visit Mr. Phongsavath Boupha also attended the
International exhibition of energy equipments held in Moscow
International Trade Center, met with academician I.Panfilof,first deputy
chairman of the russian-laotian friendship association, visited Moscow
places of interest.
