Traditionally being main event in the field of protected
polygraphy, security printing and banknotes processing as well as
authenticity control equipment the Internatiopnal "CURRENCY CONFERENCE'
2010" took place in Buenos-Aires (Argentina) on May 9-12,2010.
The key figures of this special industrial sector, heads and top
managers of the central, state and national banks, ministries of finance
and other major international organisations from different countries of
the world took part in the special subject exhibitions and theeme
meetings in the course of conference. Thus, the US federal treasurer,
deputy minister of finace Mrs. R.Rios presented to the participants the
new 100 dollars banknote and informed of the plans of their issue. The
main interest of the participants was attracted by the report of the
head of Scotland bank which is traditionally printed your own scotch
pounds to be popular amoung the banknotes collectors. Attracted by the
highest protection level renewed design of the russian 1000 rouble
banknote was showed by the representatives of Central bank of Russia.
Specfial poligraphy protected products, methods and facilities of
their protection as well as security printing equipment were also
offered by the companies-sponsors during the confidential session of the
conference.Particulary, the modern russiam product - the latest model of
the sheet counting machine was showed at the booth of
"MK-SP" Ltd.,the oldest sponsor and cofounder of the above conference.
The modern specimens of the banknote products as well as wide scale of
their protection were demonstrated by the russian "GOZNAK" company.
During the conference the prospects of the world standart as wel as
counterfeiting problems were also discussed by the participants.
