The VI-th meeting of the Russian-Lao Intergovernmental commission on trade-and-economic and scientific-and-technical cooperation took place on December 19, 2006, in Vientiane. The Russian party was represented by Mr. V.A. Fetisov - Head of the Federal Agency for physical culture and sports, Chairman of the Russian part of the Commission. The Laotian delegation was headed by the deputy Prime-Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR Mr. Tonglun Sisulit by order of which the Minister of Industry and Trade Mr. N. Vinyaket signed the corresponding protocol. The commission discussed the progress of the Russian-Lao trade-and-economic and scientific-and-technical cooperation in 2005-2006 as well as the measures aimed at further development of the bilateral cooperation.

The protocol signed underlines the particular contribution of MK Group of Companies to the development of the cooperation between the two countries.
