Meeting of the editorial council of the "International Economic" magazine was held on June 24,2008 in the building of Russia Chamber of Commerce. The meeting was attended by professor R.Khazbulatov -
Chairman of the world economics department of the Russia Academy of Economics after G.Plekhjanov,
academician I.Panfilov - Vice-President of the Russian Peace Fund, academician L. Rybakovsky - professor of the Academy of Social Science, academician A.Khazanov - professor of the Academy of Science,other members of editorial council.The main questions discussed - annual report, themes of publications to be published and the issue schedule.
Opening the meeting editor-in-chief academician A.Strygin informed the members of the work done, specified the main questions and problems appeared during the year and offered the ways of their decision
Further the meeting was chaired by professor R. Khazbulatov. The participants noted that the magazine was getting more interesting from issue to issue, well-known politics, economists, young scientists published their articles in the magazine.
Taking into account the present situation in the world economics the participants recommended to pay
more attention to the themes of publications, to publish the articles of foreign noted scientists.
For further improving the situation in eddition of the magazine, increasing the circulation the editorial council approved the decision to organise the editorial board and also confirmed the authorities of professor R.Khazbulatov as the first deputy Chairman of the editorial council as well as academician I.Panfilov and professor B. Smitienko as the deputies Chairman of the editorial council."
